Sébastien Chabal - Speed sculpt Progression Footage

LA Girl

Got inspired by some character art so ended up undertaking this painting.  Always find painting skin tones somewhat of a challenge.  The contre-jour style lighting also made the hair a difficult task!  Extremely fun though!

CG Society update!
I have added some of my 'Reaper of Souls' artwork to my CG Society portfolio.  I'm currently working on a tutorial that will offer an insight in to how these environments were constructed both from a texturing and geometry standpoint.  Watch this space!

Apologies for the lack of posts!

As you can see from this recent flood of postings, I have had a pretty hectic year.  Amongst all the fun, I am actually about to ship my second game THIS year!  Taking in to account, that it can take a developer anywhere between 5-8 years to do this, just emphasizes the amount of work I have had to undertake.  Oh and I have a baby due, in October!

Over the coming months, I should have more time available to update this blog more often and give you some more insight in to how things are going.  Sorry I havn't been able to do that until now!

Reaper of Souls Launch Party, Vibiana, Los Angeles

To launch Diablo Reaper of Souls, we held an event in an old Church, which combined with all the great work from other Blizzard folk made it feel like the World of Sanctuary.  These events are fantastic as they allow us development guys to interact with the fans of Diablo on a face to face level.  I look forward to attending more of these!

Blizzard Campus Reaper of Souls Champagne Toast & Box Signing events

We had a great time with a fellow employees celebrating the release of Diablo Reaper of Souls!Many corks were popped at a Champagne toast at Blizzard HQ.  Later we attended a signing event where other Blizzard folk was able to get their RoS collectors editions signed by the Development team.  Fun times!!!

World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Cinematic

The Cinematic for the game I am working has just gone live after Premiering in L.A. and it's gorgeous!

The Premiere was a fantastic experience for both fans and developers alike!
